July 4, 2020 – My Amazing Aaron – the 4th is almost over and I finally decided I better do this post. Today was really hard. One of your battle buddies from basic training posted an ARMY video of what you guys experience during training. I knew about it – I understood what you went through but for whatever reason it hit me hard today. You were so strong and brave and you fought every day to get through training to be a soldier and then you were just gone. I don’t really celebrate the 4th anymore – loud noises get to me but I guess because everything was cancelled the neighborhood put on one heck of a firework show – they were everywhere – the neighborhood was filled with smoke there were so many. I did go out and took some video but I didn’t stay out and watch them all. All I do is wish for you to be here. These photos from the 4th we spent in Idaho when Great Grandma Edith was still alive – we had so much fun. I hope you are with Grandma. I miss you so very much. I love you with all my heart always and forever no matter what ❤️🦊
